Zamir White Could Become A Starter By 2023
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders rookie running back Zamir White, who was taken in the fourth round out of Georgia in this year's draft, has a good chance to become the team's starting running back in 2023. The Raiders declined to pick up Josh Jacobs' fifth-year option, and White has been defying expectations since birth, when he was given only two weeks to live due to complications. He has also torn the ACL in his knee twice, but it didn't stop him, as he became the starting RB for the national-champion Bulldogs last year. White has the ability to sidestep tackles or power through them, and he also has home run speed to create big plays. White won't be a fantasy asset in redraft leagues this year behind Jacobs and Kenyan Drake, but he's one to keep an eye on.
