3 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward Zeke Nnaji (knee) may run out of time to return to the court this season as he battles bilateral knee soreness. Nnaji has appeared just once Feb. 11 and recorded a career-high four steals before returning to the sidelines. With Nnaji down, DeMarcus Cousins and JaMychal Green have held down second unit frontcourt duties. Nnaji appeared in 40 games (one start) this year and averaged 6.6 points and 3.6 boards during his second professional season. He may factor into the Nuggets' mix more significantly next year, but he can remain on the waiver wire for the remainder of 2021-22.--Jesse Borek
