4 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson utilized his career-high 38 minutes on the court to produce a massive Christmas Day double-double versus Miami, accounting for 32 points and a career-best 14 rebounds. Williamson was tenacious both on the glass and in attacking the rim, getting up 20 shots while also attempting 15 free throws. After having compiled two double-doubles in 24 games as a rookie, Williamson has kicked off his sophomore campaign with double-doubles in each of the first two contests. His stock is beginning to rise rapidly and he appears to be a confounding issue for opposing defenses to combat, even as the vast majority of his looks come inside the paint. His next time on the floor comes Sunday versus the Spurs, whom he scored 47 points against in 45 combined minutes last year.--Jesse Borek
