5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson (knee) made his debut on Wednesday night against the Spurs, finishing with 22 points, seven boards, and three assists in 18 minutes of play. The 2019 No. 1 overall pick went 8-for-11 from the field and was surprisingly efficient from deep by sinking all four of his shots from downtown. Turnovers were an issue as the 19-year-old amassed five on the night, and his lack of minutes will continue to be the theme while he works his way back into shape after having surgery a few months ago to repair a torn meniscus.
