NFL Week 11: Thunder Dan's NFL DFS Tiered Rankings (Premium Content)

All other Premium Tools can be accessed on the premium dashboard.

Welcome, RotoBallers, to my official tiered rankings for week 11 of this NFL season! You can find my core plays at RB and WR each week in my Anchors column as well as the rest of my favorites plays in our premium cheat sheet.

The concept behind these rankings is to give you an idea of how to approach lineup building for this week's slate. I will rank all relevant players based on their point-per-dollar value in one of five tiers and then provide notes on each tier explaining how I plan to utilize each tier this week.

Tier 1 is going to have most of my favorite plays and likely a good bit of chalk, but you're not likely going to be able to build too many lineups ONLY using players from Tier 1.

Tiers 2 and 3 are going to have some players you will want to mix and match in lineups, likely at lower ownership than Tier 1.

Tiers 4 and 5 are players that I likely won't have much exposure to that week and are players that you should only consider in large field GPPs if you are going to be mass multi-entering a large number of lineups.

NFL Week 11 - Premium DFS Rankings

  • Rankings are based primarily on DK pricing and are based on points-per-dollar value, not raw points.
  • Core plays are highlighted in green boxes.
  • Bold black font indicates the player is useable in all formats - tournaments and cash games.
  • Bold blue font indicates the player is preferred for tournaments. These are usually lower-owned pivot plays.
  • Red font indicates that I am fading that player, and wouldn't suggest any exposure to them even if you are making multiple builds.
  • If a player is not on the chart, it's likely because they are only a part-time player on offense. I will attempt to update the rankings and notes each week on Saturday or Sunday morning once injury news becomes more concrete.

ALL NOTES ARE UPDATED AS OF SATURDAY 11/20 at 112:00 PM

Tier 1 Notes:

As usual, here's where all the goodness is! If you can make a lineup using only these players, that's an optimal build for cash games or small field single-entry.

It looks like another week where we could have elite value at the RB position with A.J. Dillon and Mark Ingram almost near-locks for cash games. I certainly like Joe Mixon and James Conner a ton, too, and Conner won't break the bank. We have a few cheaper QB options with Tua and Cam Newton both in good spots. Meanwhile, the receiver position is quite strong this week with Lamb, Hill, and Gallup all from the same game and Diggs being in a great matchup of his own.

I like Dan Arnold or Dalton Schultz in cash at TE, with the latter having his projection elevated since Cooper was ruled out for the Cowboys.

Tier 2 Notes:

Tier 2 is quite appealing for tournaments as usual. The Jets and Ravens wideouts are relatively cheap compared to the field in great matchups, they are simply hard to predict. Toss D.J. Moore in there, too, who is way too cheap for an elite matchup but has Cam Newton throwing him the ball now. Speaking of the Panthers, it's likely everyone is sleeping on Christian McCaffrey and he's looked really good since returning from injury.

Your pay-ups at QB are here in this tier with Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Lamar Jackson as sexy GPP targets. Cole Kmet is an intriguing target at TE this week as the Ravens have been bad against the TE position and he's starting to develop. Ezekiel Elliot and some of the other higher-priced running backs here and I think they should be lower-owned now that the value at RB has opened up.

Tier 3 Notes:

With a lot of "good chalk" in the top tiers, this tier should really be reserved for some one-off plays or adding a different variation to a stack. Justin Jefferson could arguably be in the second tier, but his price is a bit prohibitive despite his potential for a big game. Kyler Murray should play this week, but all the uncertainly surrounding him is undoubtedly going to keep everyone off him. If you want a 2% dynamic running QB who could break a slate against a poor pass defense, he's definitely worth a shot, right?

There's no way to tell how the carries will shake out in the Tennessee backfield, but those guys are in a solid matchup this week against a bad Houston run defense. Foreman was a name thrown around earlier in the week who will likely be long forgotten now that other, safer plays have surfaced.

Tier 4 Notes:

Each week I try to justify highlighting some of these Tier 4 guys, but it's hard. Earlier in the year when there was more uncertainty as to which players would get the touches and targets it made sense to mix it up more, but by this point of the year we can fairly confidently predict the volume for the main offensive players on each team. These aren't bad plays, they just aren't anyone I'm looking to get exposure to either.

Tier 5 Notes:

Most of my fades are down here and guys that I don't see having much upside. I rarely dip into Tier 5 even in my GPP builds and you really shouldn't either, unless you are max-entering and want to grab a small percentage of a player there.
