It was a slow weekend for all involved at the RBC Heritage. Kevin Kisner's terrible Friday performance cost Josh a payday. Joe's selection of Matt Kuchar faltered over much of the four days. And Justin Rose did do better than the rest, but a missed three-foot putt on the final hole turned into almost a 100k mistake for the man who loves his cash.
Things are still wide open between the three of us, and it will only take one big score for this contest to flip upside down. Let's not waste any additional time and see who the guys will be taking this week.

One and Done Selections - RBC Heritage
Joe Nicely - Bryson DeChambeau
Alternate - Joaquin Niemann
After two weeks of “near misses”, this is the week that the new and bulkier Bryson DeChambeau gets it done. While TPC River Highlands will still somewhat restrict him off the tee, he’ll definitely be able to bomb away more this week than he has at Colonial or Harbour Town.
DeChambeau has been in beast mode both off the tee and on approach since the PGA Tour resumed play and he heads to a layout on which he’s recorded back-to-back top-10s in his last two Travelers starts. It should be a winning blend of current form and course history.
PS...Matt Kuchar sucks! - Joe Nicely
Yearly Earnings - $2,237,154
Yearly Cuts Made - 9/12

Spencer Aguiar - Sungjae Im
Alternate - Gary Woodland
I am going to keep things short and simple for this week's write-up. We are still in the middle of a pandemic, and there will be some uncertainty for these events as we progress for the next little bit. Players who are easily rattled by things happening on or off the course do become much more difficult to play, and I will be looking for golfers that have shown the propensity to go about their business, regardless of what is going on in the world.
Sungjae Im should be itching to get himself back out there after losing 4.4 shots on the greens at RBC Heritage, and it is worth noting that his second-biggest loss with his putter also came the season before at Harbour Town. Im bounced back with a 31st place showing after that display, and I believe we should be expecting an even better effort than that at TPC River Highlands. The South Korean has the mental stature to ignore the outside world, and the skillset to find the winner's circle in Connecticut. - Spencer Aguiar
Yearly Earnings - $2,852,906
Yearly Cuts Made - 10/12
Josh Bennett - Bryson DeChambeau
Alternate - Tony Finau
I’m going to stick with my rule early on in this contest about not overthinking and just going with the guy I know fits the best. These guys never let me pick Webb Simpson anymore, so I have to at least get a little creative from there, but this week was not a difficult pick for me. Just looking at the course, it is obvious that a bomber should dominate, and especially an elite bomber like Bryson is. There are tons of bunkers and sets of trees that are in play for the majority of the field, but if he’s carrying the ball 330, Bryson is going to be able to completely eliminate most bunkers and tree problems. Having a wide open landing area on these shorter holes is such a massive advantage over the rest of the field. Not only that, he’s played this course well before with two top 10’s the last two years, not to mention the heater he is on in his recent performances. No questions about it from me, Bryson is the guy this week. - Josh Bennett
