4 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez will be out of the lineup for the second time in four games on Thursday as the team closes out their four-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays. Vazquez got off to a scorching start to the year, hitting four home runs in his first five games, but he's failed to homer once since. Over the month of August, he's slashing just .171/.194/.200 with 14 strikeouts over 35 at-bats. Vazquez may give his fantasy owners some headaches with his streaky hitting, but his end-of-the-year numbers should still rank him right around the top-10 producers at the position.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
