ANALYSIS: I must admit that I was really high on N'Keal Harry last season, in his rookie year and the last with QB Tom Brady playing for the Patriots. And what did Harry do? Let me know, that is. Over his seven played games Harry scored all of 39.4 PPR points for a 5.6 paltry average... and was targeted just 24 times to finish as the 300th-best player in all fantasy football. Superb, right?

Now with Brady out and Cam Newton in, this offense has been forced to change and neither of Phillip Dorsett or Mohamed Sanu (143 combined targets in 2019) are in New England anymore. That already showed in Week 1, when Harry could only finish with 6.9 PPR points but finished the game with the second-most targets (six) only behind Julian Edelman (seven), tied for the most receptions among Patriots (five), and racked up 39 receiving yards for a 7.8 Y/R average.

The changes that came to New England have put Harry in the WR2 role. It might take a while for him to get the grip of the league and put on monster yardage numbers, but he should be a weekly FLEX play in most deep leagues, namely those using the PPR scoring system. The volume will be there because of the lack of receiving talent, and while Edelman will have the boom-play upside Harry should offer a nice, reliable skill set to be used on shorter, safer routes.
