Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - MLB Hitter, Pitcher Lineup Picks for Tuesday 7/6

Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to make up for Max Fried getting lit yesterday, we can help. Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.

It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.

We have nine pitchers owned in more than 90% of leagues and another three that are owned in more than half of ESPN leagues. That leaves us 18 pitchers that should be available for streaming. Which ones can actually help us?

Hitter Streamers for 7/6 - Shallow Leagues

Brandon Nimmo (OF, LHB, NYM) - 47.1% Rostered

Matchup: vs. MIL RHP Chase Anderson

Nimmo is hitting .389 with four runs scored and three RBI in the four games since his return from the IL. The finger doesn't look to be bothering him at all. When at his best, Nimmo can give you a boost to the average and will help with runs as well so long as he is leading off for the Mets. He has never had much for power, so if you need homers, you're going to have to look elsewhere. Still, he is seeing the ball well right now. I'll take the boost to the average if nothing else.

Ty France (1B/2B, RHB, SEA) - 43.9% Rostered

Matchup: vs. NYY RHP Jameson Taillon

France is riding a six-game hit streak and has hit safely in eight of the last nine. He is hitting .348 with two homers, six RBI, and four runs scored in that span. France is still batting cleanup for the Mariners and Taillon has been getting cleaned up of late. He has allowed 12 runs in 16.2 innings over his last four starts.

Andrew Vaughn (1B/OF, RHB, CWS) - 37.6% Rostered

Matchup: at MIN RHP Jose Berrios

Vaughn struggled to start the year, but he is currently riding a seven-game hitting streak. In that span, Vaughn is hitting .423 with two homers, five RBI, and seven runs scored. Before you guffaw at the fact that he's facing Berrios, spare me. He picked up two hits against Berrios on Wednesday of last week which is also part of his current hit streak. Vaughn isn't slowing down and Berrios has struggled some lately. I'll side with Vaughn here.

Akil Baddoo (OF, LHB, DET) - 28.6% Rostered

Matchup: at TEX RHP Dane Dunning

Texas has turned out to be an outstanding pitcher's park, but we aren't playing Baddoo for power anyway. Baddoo is leading off for an improving Tigers offense and he's on a bit of a heater lately. This era of baseball is all about launch angles and home runs, so Baddoo's five stolen bases in the last seven games are going to be huge in a 5x5 league. His .304 average in that span wont hurt you and he has kicked in four runs scored and three RBI for good measure. If you need steals and Baddoo is facing a righty, go grab him.

Hitter Streamers for 7/6 - Deeper Leagues

Jake Fraley (OF, LHB, SEA) - 14.4% Rostered

Matchup: vs.NYY RHP Jameson Taillon

Fraley is mostly in a platoon role right now, but he's looking pretty good in it. Fraley is hitting .323 with three homers, six RBI, and four runs scored in his last eight starts. He has even kicked in two steals for good measure. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not scared of Taillon and even the Yankees bullpen isn't as invincible of late. This is another good spot for Fraley.

Starlin Castro (2B/3B, RHB, WAS) - 12.6% Rostered

Matchup: at SD LHP Ryan Weathers

We see this about once a year, don't we? Castro has an eight-game hitting streak and has at least one hit in all but two games over the last three weeks. Castro is hitting .423 in his current eight game streak with five runs scored, a homer, and seven RBI. As long as he keeps hitting for a high average, we can work with this. Just keep in mind that Castro doesn't have much for power or speed left at the age of 31. He can help your average, runs scored, and RBI though.

Asdrubal Cabrera (1B/3B, SHB, ARI) - 9.8% Rostered

Matchup: vs. COL RHP Jon Gray

Cabrera has a modest six-game hitting streak going while starting almost everyday for an Arizona team that is missing Kole Calhoun and Ketel Marte. Cabrera is hitting .435 in that span with two runs scored and five RBI. He's not good for much else besides average and RBI at this point in his career, but this is a good matchup.

Gavin Sheets (1B, LHB, CWS) - 8.2% Rostered

Matchup: at MIN RHP Jose Berrios

Sheets now has a full seven games under his belt. In his first week in the majors, he hit .320 with two homers, three runs scored, and eight RBI. Not a bad first week on the job! He even picked up a hit and a RBI against Berrios at home. Target Field is a better hitting environment. The league hasn't figured out Sheets yet. Capitalize on his hot start while you can!

Pitcher Streamers for 7/6 - Shallow Leagues

Jon Gray (RHP, COL) - 27.9% rostered

Matchup: at Arizona

Gray isn't usually a guy that I use on the road. Call me superstitious, but the 5.32 ERA in five road starts is unsettling. For some reason, Gray manages to hold his own in hitter's parks. He owns a solid 3.60 ERA in seven career starts at Chase Field. Add in the 3.86 ERA in three starts against Arizona this season and he feels like a decent option. Gray isn't striking out as many batters as usual, so that is a bit concerning. He should be able to give your ratios a bit of a boost early in the week at the very least.

Pitcher Streamers for 7/6 - Deeper Leagues

Dane Dunning (RHP, TEX) - 11.8% rostered

Matchup: vs. Detroit

Advertising

Since Dunning got smacked by the Angels back on May 26, he has only given up 11 earned runs in six starts. That includes a trip to Coors Field. Dunning posts pedestrian strikeout numbers and the WHIP can get a little out of hand, but he does have a very nice 2.63 ERA in eight home starts. His WHIP is also .5 lower at home than on the road. The Tigers are quickly improving, but Dunning is worth a look any time he takes the hill at home.
