Daily Fantasy Baseball Streamers - Waiver Wire Picks for Tuesday 7/20

Welcome to another edition of our daily fantasy baseball streamers! Are you playing in leagues with daily moves and looking to beef up those rosters? We here at RotoBaller are there for you and all of your streaming needs. Whether you are just trying to get that elusive category win or you are trying to make up for Ross Stripling last night, we can help. Each day, RotoBaller will provide you with some of the best streaming options to consider in both shallow and deep fantasy baseball daily leagues. Streaming hitters and pitchers to exploit matchups are important to help you win your league.

It is important to know your league if you're going to stream. I'm not just talking about which teams your leaguemates root for. I'm talking about whether strikeouts count against you for hitters or if fielding stats are included. Most importantly, you need to know how many transactions you have per week. You don't want to blow your allotment within a couple of days. You can also use these recommendations to help build your DFS lineups. This article will use rostered percentages and position eligibility from ESPN leagues.

We only have four pitchers going that are owned in more than 90% of ESPN leagues. Six more are owned in more than half of leagues. We are getting to the stage or rotations where there are less aces going. We have two-thirds of the pitchers to choose from today, so we could have some really nice streaming options out there.

Editor's Note: Our incredible team of writers received five total writing awards and 13 award nominations by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association, tops in the industry! Congrats to all the award winners and nominees including Best MLB Series, NFL Series, NBA Writer, PGA Writer and Player Notes writer of the year. Hitter Streamers for 7/20 - Shallow Leagues

Luis Urias (2B/SS/3B, RHB, MIL) - 49.1% Rostered

Matchup: vs. KC LHP Mike Minor

Urias began his encore for a nice first half in superb fashion against the Reds. He picked up six hits in the three game series with four runs scored, a homer, and three RBI. This Milwaukee offense as a whole is looking pretty good lately. Minor can be had, especially by right-handed batters. If you have a middle infielder that's struggling, replace him with Urias. You'll be glad you did. He has been a weekly waiver target by Rotoballer for five weeks now.

Ty France (1B/2B, RHB, SEA) - 43.4% Rostered

Matchup: at COL RHP German Marquez

Marquez has been lights out over the last month, but the bullpen behind him is still 50 shades of terrible and this game is in Coors Field. France went berserk on the Angels in Anaheim coming out of the break with seven hits in three games including a homer, three runs scored, and five RBI. Sending him to Coors should pad his stats even further, meaning France is a good pickup for a few games this week.

Jed Lowrie (2B, RHB, OAK) - 41.1% Rostered

Matchup: vs. LAA LHP Jose Suarez

Lowrie hit the break on a tear, riding a six-game hitting streak in which he hit .417 with two homers, six RBI, and three runs scored against the Rangers and Astros. He came out out the break with a walk-off homer, his third in the last three games. That streak ended on Saturday since Lowrie didn't start the game and recorded an out in his pinch-hit appearance. I'll give him a mulligan even if MLB wont. Lowrie is still hitting .414 during his nine-game* hitting streak with three homers, nine RBI, and five runs scored. This wont last forever, but Lowrie can provide a nice boost when he's this hot.

J.D. Davis (3B, RHB, NYM) - 31.9% Rostered

Matchup: at CIN LHP Wade Miley

Wow, a guy goes on the IL and you all think he's dead. That's the only explanation I have for the tepid ownership on Davis. He came back from the IL when baseball resumed on Friday and recorded an out as a pinch-hitter. Since then, Davis has four hits in ten tries with a pair of homers, four RBI, and three runs scored. The Mets are getting healthy, and they have proven to be dangerous when healthy.

Akil Baddoo (OF, LHB, DET) - 31.3% Rostered

Matchup: vs.TEX RHP Matt Dunning

No, you're not going crazy. You get an extra one today. Call it vindication. We here at RotoBaller have been touting Baddoo as a waiver pickup for the last couple of weeks, and unfortunately, not many have taken notice. Baddoo has come out of the break on an absolute tear. He has five hits in three games with a homer, four runs scored, seven RBI, and a steal. He's batting leadoff for a suddenly dangerous Detroit lineup. Don't snooze on him any longer. He'll be 80% owned within a week.

Hitter Streamers for 7/20 - Deeper Leagues

Miguel Rojas (SS, RHB, MIA) - 19.8% Rostered

Matchup: at WAS RHP Paulo Espino

The Marlins have already played five games since the break and Rojas has at least one hit in all of them. Add that to the modest two-game hitting streak he went into the break with and Rojas now has a hit every day for a week straight. He is hitting .483 with a homer, three RBI, a steal, and two runs scored in that span. Considering the way balls are flying out of Nationals Park right now, I can see Rojas having another strong game in what is essentially a bullpen game for Washington.

Gavin Sheets (1B, LHB, CWS) - 5.1% Rostered

Matchup: vs. MIN RHP Bailey Ober

Sheets seems to be in a platoon situation, but he's in the strong side of it and doing well when he plays. He has smacked two homers and driven in five in his two starts since the break. He should get the start with another (average) righty on the mound for Minnesota. Look for the hot hitting to continue.

Nicky Lopez (2B/SS, LHB, KC) - 4.2% Rostered

Matchup: at MIL LHP Eric Lauer

Hey, don't laugh. Lopez has come out of the break with five hits in 11 at bats with four runs scored and four RBI. He has zero power – the guy has three career homers in 786 at bats – but homers are only one out of five categories. Lopez is giving you something in the other four.

Wilmer Difo (2B/3B/OF, SHB, PIT) - 3.1% Rostered

Matchup: at ARI RHP Taylor Widener

Difo's recent six-game hitting streak began with a pinch-hit on July 10. Since then, he is hitting .526 with two homers, five RBI, and five runs scored. Tell me you can't use that in your deeper leagues. I sure can (and am).

Pitcher Streamers for 7/20 - Shallow Leagues

Tarik Skubal (LHP, DET) - 35.1% rostered

Matchup: vs. Rangers

Skubal stumbled a little heading into the break, allowing eight runs in two July starts. I'll give him a bit of a pass since it was against the Twins and White Sox. The Rangers are on tap for today. As a team, they are hitting just .150 through four games after the All-Star break. They got dominated last night by rookie Casey Mize through four innings and statistically the worst bullpen in baseball for five innings after that. I see a rebound in a big way for Skubal here.

Pitcher Streamers for 7/20 - Deeper Leagues

Eric Lauer (LHP, MIL) - 9.1% rostered

Matchup: vs. Kansas City

Lauer has allowed just two runs combined in his last three starts. The start before that, he only gave up three runs in Coors. Lauer hasn't allowed a homer in the last three starts either. Sometimes his walks still get a bit out of control, but in comes a Royals offense that things walks are an insult. They strike out a lot and they lose the DH coming to Milwaukee. It should be a good night as a primer for Game 6 of the NBA finals for Milwaukee fans.

Jose Suarez (LHP, LAA) - 6.3% rostered

Matchup: at Oakland

The Angels seemed to be grasping at straws in the rotation not long ago. All of the sudden, Alex Cobb remembered how to pitch and Suarez has become a reliable piece of the rotation. He had some control issues against Boston, but he did pitch well against the Yankees and Seattle since rejoining the rotation. All told, Suarez has allowed only four runs in 13.1 innings once back in the rotation. Again, this isn't a great day for streaming strikeouts, but I'll take the park upgrade with Suarez and the decent strikeout potential.
