The trade deadline wasn't exactly what most people were hoping for, but there were a few important trades. Some teams cleared a bit of cap, which will allow them to sign veterans that are bought out, while others added pieces, such as P.J. Tucker, who isn't a big name, but will certainly help Toronto in the playoffs.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/24/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Russell Westbrook – PG, vs LAL ($13,000)
Westbrook has been making his case for the MVP the entire season, and he just scored 41 points in only 20 minutes in the All Star game. Regardless of defensive effort, that’s impressive. He’s also averaging a triple double this season, and he gets an elite matchup against the Lakers, who he’s averaging over 70 fantasy points against this season. He has been a better player at home, as well, and he will be locked into huge minutes with Cameron Payne now in Chicago. Westbrook isn’t going to come cheap, but he’s a player worth paying up for tonight.
Wesley Matthews – SG/SF, at MIN ($5,600)
Matthews struggled in his last game, but he has had a few days of rest now, and he flashed an elite combination of consistency and upside for his current price tag. He’s a good scorer, who can add peripheral stats on a nightly basis. He could also see a few extra minutes tonight with Justin Anderson out of town. He gets a tough matchup against the Wolves, but Matthews has been playing more than well enough to be used in all leagues tonight.
Jeremy Lin – PG, at DEN ($5,000)
Lin is expected to return to action tonight, and Kenny Atkinson has stated that he’s leaning towards inserting Lin into the starting lineup. He has been a great fantasy option this season, as he’s averaging 30.3 fantasy points in only 25 minutes per game, but he has only played 13 games. He doesn’t need many minutes to hit value at his current price tag, especially in a fast paced matchup against the Nuggets. Keep an eye out for an announcement for Lin’s minutes tonight, but if he is playing 25 or more minutes, he can be used in all leagues.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Kawhi Leonard – SF, at LAC ($8,700)
Leonard saw his price dip a bit after the All Star break, which is a bit surprising. He was playing at an elite level before the break, scoring around 50 fantasy points per game on a consistent basis. He is a huge part of the Spurs offense, and he has also been contributing in other categories, as well. He gets a decent matchup against the Clippers, who he has struggled against this season, but Leonard is too cheap to be ignored. He’s a great option in all leagues.
Dario Saric – SF/PF, vs WAS ($6,400)
Saric was one of the hotter players in the NBA before the All Star break, scoring at least 38 fantasy points in each of his last four games. He has a clear path to minutes with Nerlen Noel out of town, and the Sixers have announced that they want Saric in the starting lineup. It isn’t a surprise due to his recent play, which has been sparked by his efficient post play. He should have no problems dominating the Wizards tonight, and Saric’s price is only going to go up from here.
Bobby Portis – PF, vs PHO ($5,000)
The Bulls traded Taj Gibson in an effort to give Bobby Portis more minutes. It wouldn’t be surprising if he draws the start tonight, but even if he doesn’t, he should see plenty of minutes off the bench. He has flashed great upside in limited playing time this season, and he should see plenty of opportunities for fantasy points against a fast paced Suns team tonight. There is a bit of risk that comes with Portis, though, which makes him best suited for tournaments tonight.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Ruby Gobert – C, at MIL ($7,100)
Gobert has been enjoying an outstanding season, as he’s averaging 12.9 points, 12.6 rebounds, 1.0 assist, and 2.5 blocks in 33.3 minutes per game. He has been just as good on the road as he has been at home, and he dominated the Bucks in their only matchup this season. Gobert isn’t a huge part of the Jazz offense, which is worrisome, but he adds enough defensive stats on a nightly basis to keep him a fairly safe option. He can be used in all leagues tonight.
Jahlil Okafor – C, vs WAS ($5,200)
There simply isn’t anyone left in Philadelphia to steal Okafor’s minutes tonight. Joel Embiid and Tiago Splitter are injured, Nerlens Noel was traded to Dallas, and newly acquired Andrew Bogut won’t play more than a handful of minutes. Richaun Holmes could also steal a few minutes, but Okafor should see plenty of time on the court tonight. He has looked good on a per minute basis this season, and he has flashed elite upside when given the minutes. He has also played well against the Wizards in two matchups this season, and Okafor is cheap enough to be considered in all leagues.
