Last night was extremely telling for the Pelicans offense. Anthony Davis was the clear focal point, while DeMarcus Cousins relied more on peripheral stats. I'll be going more into that below, so I don't want to ruin too much of it right now.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/26/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Russell Westbrook – PG, vs NO ($12,900)
Russell Westbrook has been playing at an elite level for the majority of the season for the Thunder. He has been on fire recently, as well, scoring at least 70 fantasy points in six of his last nine games. He’s a threat to triple double on a nightly basis, and he gets a fast paced matchup against the Pelicans tonight. Westbrook is averaging over 65 fantasy points per game against New Orleans this season, and he can be used in all leagues.
George Hill – PG, at WAS ($5,900)
Hill has somewhat seen a career resurgence in Utah this season, as he has been a great fantasy option for the most part. When healthy, he generally sits around 30 fantasy point s per night with the ability for much more. He gets a good matchup against the Wizards, who have been pushing the pace in games this season. Hill is a solid scorer, who also has the ability to add peripheral stats on a nightly basis. He has been playing well enough for all leagues, especially since he recently got a week of rest because of the All Star break.
Ish Smith – PG, vs BOS ($4,500)
Smith is far from a safe option because of his inconsistent minutes, but he comes with elite upside for his price tag. He has played at least 30 minutes in two of his last four games, and he was able to score 40 and 30.75 fantasy points in those games. He has also played 20 or less minutes in the other two games, and he only scored 18 and 8.25 fantasy points in those games. He’s averaging 32.3 fantasy points in 29.2 minutes per game against the Celtics this season, though, which is why Smith makes such a great salary relief option in tournaments tonight.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Anthony Davis – PF/C, at OKC ($9,500)
Davis’ price tag is a joke again tonight, especially after showing that he’s still the focal point of the Pelicans offense last night. He may not take as many shots tonight as he did in that game, but he doesn’t need that many to hit value at his current price tag. He can contribute in each of the five categories, and he’s a fairly safe option with elite upside. He gets a good matchup against the Thunder, who have struggled against bigs this season, and Davis makes a great option in all leagues.
Frank Kaminsky – PF/C, at LAC ($6,500)
Kaminsky has had a few ups and downs this season, but he has been locked into big minutes with Cody Zeller out. If Zeller is out again tonight, which is likely at this point, Kaminsky will play around 40 minutes again. HE’s a great scorer, who can add peripheral stats each night, as well. He still isn’t all that expensive, and he gets a good matchup against the Clippers, who he dominated in their only matchup this season. If Zeller is ruled out, Kaminsky can be used in all leagues tonight.
Jon Leuer – PF, vs BOS ($4,800)
Leuer has been playing a much bigger role for the Pistons recently, as he’s averaging 29 fantasy points in 37 minutes per game over his last three games. Leuer’s minutes have been extremely inconsistent this season, but he tends to go on stretches where he plays big minutes followed by stretches where he barely plays. Right now, he has been seeing plenty of court time, and he gets a good matchup against the Celtics. He still comes with a fairly low price tag, and Leuer is a good option in all leagues on the slate tonight.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Rudy Gobert – C, at WAS ($7,100)
Gobert generally doesn’t come with elite upside because of his limited offensive role, but he’s a consistent option because of his defensive statistics. He rebounds and blocks shot at an elite rate, but he can also add a couple assists and steals on any given night. He has also scored double digit points in nine of his last 10 games. He gets a good matchup against the Wizards, who love pushing the pace in games, and Gobert is a safe option in all leagues for his current price tag.
Jusuf Nurkic – C, at TOR ($5,600)
Nurkic started for the Blazers in their last game, and he scored 44.5 fantasy points in 34 minutes. He’s a big man that can contribute in each of the five categories, and he has been an elite fantasy option when given the minutes in his career. He does come with quite a bit of risk, though, as he has struggled with foul troubles throughout his career. He also gets a great matchup against the Raptors, who have struggled against the center this season. He will be a great option if he can stay on the court tonight, but he’s only a tournament option because of his struggles with fouls.
