FanDuel DFS - MLB Lineup Picks, Sleepers & Advice for 4/11/15

Daily fantasy baseball leagues (DFS) are becoming the thing to do, and here at RotoBaller we are excited to help our users build their bankrolls. I'll be covering FanDuel lineup picks, sleepers and general advice every Saturday and Sunday. I'll also be putting my money where my mouth is by entering my final lineup (at the bottom of the article) into one of FanDuel's many daily fantasy contests, so that RotoBaller users can compete against me.

My goal with these DFS picks, as always, is to try to choose players who will outperform their expectations. These players can be high-cost players, or they can be sleepers, but we are always looking for players that have a chance to return the greatest value. Additionally, since the weekends generally have many afternoon and night games, I'll make an effort to distribute my picks to cover all the timeslots going forward so that if you are playing an afternoon/night only league this article will still be useful. Today however, we are focused on the 7 pm slate on FanDuel. So, without further ado, my picks for Saturday

Editor’s Note: RotoBaller’s Premium DFS Lineup Picks & Tools help you get an edge for your FanDuel lineups with exclusive access to DFS tools and expert lineup picks. Also our DFS batters vs. pitchers tool helps you analyze today’s matchups and make optimal lineup decisions.

Offense to Target for FanDuel DFS

Colorado RockiesAny time the Rockies are at home they are a team you need to use to stack your lineup. They have the #1 home hitting ballpark and almost all of their everyday players have huge home/road splits. Expect all of the everyday players to have a big day, and if Drew Stubbs finds his way in the lineup he's a nice sleeper, hitting .294 with 2 HR in 17 career AB against Jason Hammel.

DFS Starting Pitchers To Consider for FanDuel

Madison Bumgarner (SP, SF) - $10,500

A lot of people will use Clayton Kershaw as their high dollar Saturday starter, but why not go with Bumgarner in a more favorable matchup. Bumgarner's opponents, the San Diego Padres play in the 2nd most difficult ballpark to score runs in all of baseball and if you missed last October, Bumgarner may have a say about the best pitcher in baseball title.

Dillon Gee (SP, NYM) - $6,500

Here is your low price pitching option. Gee is incredibly consistent and going up against a weak Atlanta Braves lineup today. Atlanta's best hitter, Freddie Freeman, is only hitting .241 against Gee in 29 career at-bats. If Freeman can't hit Gee, Atlanta can't score runs.

DFS Infielders To Consider for FanDuel

Adrian Gonzalez (1B, LAD) - $5,300

Nothing to see here, just the hottest hitter in baseball.

Luis Valbuena (3B, HOU) - $2,500

Valbuena is hitting .333 in 21 career AB against today's starter Yovani Gallardo. He's gotten off to a slow start this season, but he's coming off a 16 HR campaign and the Astros don't have many other options at 3B. Expect an above average game today from Valbuena.

DFS Outfielders To Consider for FanDuel

Chris Coghlan (OF, CHC) - $3,600

Coghlan is coming off a strong 2014 campaign where he was one of the Cubs most valuable hitters, racking up a .283 AVG. He doesn't have much power, but he has owned Kyle Kendrick in 16 career at-bats to the tune of a .375 AVG. Chicago also happens to be in Colorado right now, the best hitters park in baseball, so he could find one of his rare HR today.

Grady Sizemore (OF, PHI) - $2,400

Saying that Sizemore isn't the player he used to be is an understatement, but when healthy the skills that once made him one of the best players in the game shine through. He's hitting .444 with one home run against Doug Fister in nice career at-bats. And heck, if Jeff Francoeur can hit a HR for the Phillies, why can't Sizemore.

FanDuel Sleeper Value of the Day

Matt Joyce (OF, LAA) - $2,600

Joyce has absolutely owned Jeremy Guthrie in 34 career at-bats. He's hitting .412 with 2 HR and 7 RBI. Joyce is a career platoon player and he will almost certainly be in the lineup with a righty on the mound tonight. Expect Joyce to produce an above average game tonight and don't be surprised if he sends one into the seats.

My DFS Lineup on FanDuel

Today I'll be playing in the $20K MLB Sac Fly which starts at 7:05 pm EST.
