Colby Rasmus - (OF, TOR) - 74% Owned

Colby Rasmus can be a very perplexing option for fantasy owners because he has the potential to be an absolute monster, as evidenced by his recent stretch. He has 12 H 5 HR and 12 RBI over his last nine games after having just 4 HR and 7 RBI in the first 26 games of the season. Rasmus is among the hottest hitters so far in the month of May and is worth owning in any league, even if just for the short-term. His high strikeout rate and low batting average will continue to frustrate owners, but he can provide some serious power numbers for those in need.
Dayan Viciedo - (OF , CHW) - 49% Owned

Dayan Viciedo remains in good position with the White Sox. He is in the lineup daily and has been hitting clean-up behind AL Player of the Month, Jose Abreu. The Sox have lost Avisail Garcia for the season and Adam Eaton to the disabled list, leaving Viciedo and Alejandro De Aza as the only healthy outfielders remaining from the opening day roster. Viciedo is looking to replicate his 2012 totals of 25 HR and 78 RBI and the White Sox are certainly putting Dayan in position to succeed. Viciedo is currently hitting .306 with 17 R 2 HR and 13 RBI through 33 games and bats in the heart of the White Sox potent offense.
George Springer - (OF, HOU) - 38% Owned

The expectations were astronomical when George Springer was called up to the majors last month. After a mediocre start, owners dropped him just as quickly as he was added. With so much hype surrounding his arrival, it's not surprising that the 24 year-old has underperformed thus far. Despite his struggles, Springer finally seems to have slowed things down at the plate. He is looking more confident with each game and has collected 4 R 1 HR and 5 RBI during his current eight game hitting streak. Springer could still soon develop into the player most thought he would be right away. There is still plenty of value here, especially for owners in keeper leagues.
Gregory Polanco - (OF, PIT) - 9% Owned

It is only fitting that Gregory Polanco follows George Springer on this list. Polanco is the next highly-touted rookie that has fans chomping at the bit. Though he isn't projected to make his debut until mid-to-late-June, he is already being added in many fantasy leagues. I've never been one to pick up a player that far in advance, but Polanco is certainly worth mentioning. He is hitting .389 with 24 R 4 HR 28 RBI and 7 SB in 32 games in Triple-A this season. For those willing to stash him on the bench for awhile, Polanco is an intriguing waiver wire option.
Gerardo Parra - (OF, ARI) - 8% Owned

Gerardo Parra is quietly putting together a solid start to the 2014 season. In 36 games, Parra is slashing .272 with 21 R 3 HR 11 RBI & 3 SB atop the Diamondbacks order. Parra has hit safely in 14 of his last 16 games, with 10 hits during his current seven game streak. The fifth-year veteran contributes in every fantasy category and is a decent pickup for owners in deep or NL-only leagues.
