NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers – FanDuel Advice for 3/10/15

All throughout the 2014-15 NBA campaign, RotoBaller will be analyzing the top NBA DFS lineup picks and providing our expert advice for the best sleepers at the guard, forward and center positions. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for March 10th, 2015.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

DFS Picks for 3/10/15

Tony Parker (SAS, PG) - $5,800

Parker has had a rough year. He’s been in and out of the San Antonio lineup with injuries and hasn’t received consistent court time and shot attempts. However, Parker and the rest of the Spurs offense is really starting to click into gear.

On Sunday, Parker had his best scoring game of the year, with 32 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals. His assists are notably down this year because he has been given less responsibility to run the bulk of the offense. However, this frees him up to have more energy scoring the ball and keeping up with the defense. At his old age for a point guard, this is incredibly valuable for him heading into the playoff stretch.

In his last three games, Parker has averaged 25.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.0 steals. The Spurs has seemingly done this for a while now. They really start to look like the perennial championship contenders that they are right around March, and Parker’s health and reemergence makes him a great daily fantasy option from this point forward.

Derrick Favors (UTA, PF) - $7,600

Favors is looking like a great value pick on Tuesday, where he will look to continue his great play against the porous defense of the New York Knicks. Enes Kanter’s departure from Utah has really only helped Favors because Kanter used to take up a lot of post-up and scoring opportunities down low.

With Gobert in the lineup, Favors becomes utilized more as the main big man scoring option. Gobert still grabs his fair share of the points, but these are as a result of many assisted opportunities. Favors has actually received a slight uptick in his assists, reflecting the effect that Gobert has on the Utah lineup. Whereas Kanter took up space and generally didn’t work too well together with Favors, Gobert is a faster roll man who does not conflict with Favor’s skill set.

In his last seven games, Favors has averaged 18.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.7 blocks. Favors is contributing across the board, and has a great matchup to exploit on Tuesday.

Andre Drummond (DET, C) - $8,400

Tuesday does not have a strong slate of centers to use, so go ahead and roster Drummond if you choose to invest heavily in this position.

Drummond continues to dominate the boards at 13.0 rebounds per game. This is good for second in the league, and his play has really stabilized since the early part of the season.

In his last eight games, Drummond has averaged 15.5 points, 14.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks. Drummond may not have had the crazy breakout year many expected from him, but the possibility of Monroe departing in the offseason shows that Drummond should still be heavily invested upon as the future superstar in the Detroit Pistons.

Look for Stan Van Gundy to take advantage of Drummond’s size in Detroit’s matchup against the Lakers on Tuesday. Drummond should provide plenty of rebounds and easy buckets on his way to a great fantasy night.

Andrea Bargnani (NYK, PF) - $5,600

It’s difficult for me as a Knicks fan to name the roster of the New York team. But when Jason Smith is the starting power forward of your favorite team, that’s when you have to swallow your pride and admit that your team is pretty bad.

The New York Knicks are pretty close to terrible, but at least we have former number one overall pick Bargnani right? Sigh. Well he has proven to be an offensively adequate player over his career, and the Knicks need to put up some form of offense.

Bargnani is getting plenty of playing time and shot attempts as the best scoring option on the roster. In the last six games, he has averaged 18.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 blocks.

Utah should shut down the inside game of the Knicks, but this plays to Bargnani’s strengths. He’ll have to take plenty of mid-range jumpers, and provide some scoring on Tuesday.
