Welcome back, RotoBallers, to my PGA DFS Pivots for DraftKings! This week, the PGA event is The Scottish Open.
While The Scottish Open is not a new event, this year marks the first time it is apart of the PGA Tour's rotation. The field is strong as golfers try to get into form for the final major of the year next week.
Modeling is tough this week with so many European Tour players in the field. The DP Tour does not keep strokes gained data similar to the PGA Tour. This adds a unique challenge this week.

Scottish Open - DFS Lineup Pivots
Sung-Jae Im ($8,700) - Sung-Jae Im is currently projected to be in the single digits ownership wise. While he missed the cut at The U.S. Open, he had shown good form prior, and that missed cut is likely contributing to his low ownership number. Im is a great pivot option. Before Brookline, Im had gained strokes on approach and tee-to-green in three straight starts. I expect Im to surprise many this week.
Joaquin Niemann ($8,600) - Another golfer projected to be in the single digits is Joaquin Neimann. Over the last 24 rounds, Neimann ranks 17th tee-to-green, 18th in ball-striking, and third off-the-tee. While he has limited rounds over links style golf course, he does appear to have the game to contend. He makes a great pivot play.

Brian Harman ($7,700) - Brian Harman is going overlooked this week. In his last start at The Travelers, he finished in eighth place and gained 10.3 strokes tee-to-green. It was his third tournament in a row gaining strokes tee-to-green. Over his last 24 rounds, he ranks 24th in ball-striking and 16th off-the-tee. Harman provides some nice ownership relief with upside.
Min Woo lee ($7,300) - Min Woo Lee won last year’s edition of the Scottish Open. He won in a playoff against Matt Fitzpatrick and Thomas Detry. Lee came to the pga tour with promise but has yet to live up to expectations. However, he has played well at the majors. He finished 14th at The Masters and 27th at The U.S. Open. Lee is my favorite DFS play and I am hoping the form he found at Brookline carries over to this week.
Padraig Harrington ($6,700) - Padraig Harrington won the U.S. Senior Open last month. He also played well at The Irish Open finishing in 30th place. Harrington recently played in the JP McManus Pro-am shooting a 64 in the final round. Harrington has great course history at this event. He should, he helped and consulted with the architect of the course. Harrington provides some excellent salary relief and shouldn’t be highly owned.
