49ers Add To WR Room With Jauan Jennings

4 years agoWith the 217th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers selected Tennessee wide receiver Jauan Jennings. The 49ers have plenty of receivers still on roster, but they certainly need more after losing Emmanuel Sanders in free agency and trading Marquise Goodwin to the Eagles on Saturday. They need someone to step up outside of Deebo Samuel in 2020, and they hope it can be first-round pick Brandon Aiyuk. Jennings doesn't create a ton of separation but is great at picking up yards after the catch because of his size and balance. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has a new toy to play with, and Jennings could certainly contribute in his rookie year, just don't expect him to be relevant in redraft leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
