Adam Hadwin Enters The U.S. Open with 19 Straight Made Cuts
7 years agoAdam Hadwin leads the PGA Tour with 19 consecutive made cuts in a row, but these last couple of cuts have not been easy to obtain. During the 19 tournament stretch, Hadwin has provided nine top-25 finishes, which includes three top-10s. Recently, though, the 30-year-old Canadian golfer has had to struggle to keep his streak active. Hadwin has not produced a finish better than T52 in his last three outings and suffered an MDF finish during his previous event. Amazingly, Hadwin has dropped two spots in the Official World Golf Rankings during his made cut streak, going from 45th to 47th in the world. Hadwin has unfortunately never exhibited tons of success at the U.S. Open. Since 2011, the Canadian has only played in three previous U.S. Opens, making two of the three cuts but never finishing inside of the top 35. Hadwin is a much better player than he was in the past, but at his $7,000 price tag on DraftKings, there are still concerns that Shinnecock Hills could end up being too long for him. He makes for a risky selection, albeit one with some upside.
