5 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Adam Plutko will be recalled from the minors to start on Saturday against the Orioles. As a result, Shane Bieber and Carlos Carrasco will be pushed back to Sunday and Monday, respectively. The Tribe will face the A's at home on Monday. Plutko, 27, got off to a late start for Triple-A Columbus due to injury and is 0-2 with a ghastly 10.13 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and five strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings in his two starts. Despite the tasty matchup against Baltimore this weekend, don't expect Plutko to go deep into his first major league start in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
