Al-Farouq Aminu Provides Another Steady Performance

5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu scored eight points to go along with seven rebounds, one steal and two three-pointers in 32 minutes of action on Tuesday night. Aminu has been inefficient from the field so far this season, shooting just 39.5 percent, but the 28-year-old has been a combined 5-for-9 over his previous two contests while still averaging around the same amount of points per game. Aminu has never been a volume shooter, but the further reduction of attempts per game could help him to see some steadier shooting production during the year. Aminu's averages of 8.0 points, 8.7 boards, 0.9 steals, 1.0 triples and just 0.6 turnovers per game makes him worth owning in nine-category leagues.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
