5 years agoHouston Astros infielder Aledmys Diaz (hamstring) is improving from a Grade 1 left hamstring strain that he suffered last Friday, and he could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday. Manager A.J. Hinch said that Diaz will be back Tuesday "if all goes well." Diaz has been decent this year for Houston as a utility infielder, hitting .266/.307/.519 with five home runs and 21 RBI in 79 at-bats. He should continue to see playing time at the keystone until Jose Altuve (hamstring) is back from the injured list.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
