6 years agoSan Francisco Giants second baseman and outfielder Alen Hanson homered for his only hit in Thursday's contest against the Cardinals. Hanson has cooled off since returning from the disabled list, but the Giants seem committed to getting his bat going again as he continues to lead off. He is only batting .214 with a .631 OPS over the past two weeks, but his four percent ownership is probably still too low for deeper leagues, especially with him leading off most days. Hanson has a .326/.362/.652 slash line against right-handed pitching so far this season, though, so that makes him a decent play in daily leagues and DFS leagues when the Giants face a bad right-handed pitcher.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
