Golden State Warriors guard/forward Andrew Wiggins is expected to remain the starting small forward next season, according to Anthony Slater. D'Angelo Russell didn't last too long in Golden State, but Wiggins should stay a little longer. However, the organization would likely trade Wiggins in any blockbuster trades because his contract could be used for matching purposes. Wiggins is owed an average of $29 million over the next three seasons. The Warriors would likely have to trade Wiggins in order to acquire another star player. However, until that happens, it sounds like Wiggins is going to be a starter in Golden State. He was averaging 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.4 blocks and 1.7 triples through 12 games with the Warriors this season.
