5 years agoThe Oakland Athletics will call up outfielder Skye Bolt, the team's No. 19 prospect, per MLB Pipeline. The switch-hitting outfielder was hitting .325/.400/.675 with six home runs and 27 RBI for Triple-A Las Vegas. It's unclear how long he'll be up and how much playing time he'll receive, but the 25-year-old could see time in the outfield at the expense of Robbie Grossman and Chad Pinder. Bolt finished the year strong in the minors in 2018 and can hit for average and power from both sides of the plate. He finished a homer and a steal shy of a 20-20 season last year.
