Austin Ekeler Gets Another Shot Against Oakland

4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Austin Ekeler gets his final shot against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, and he should see enough opportunities to make something happen. At this point, Ekeler is basically auditioning for LA to move on from Melvin Gordon over the offseason and let him have the starting job full time, so every carry and catch is an opportunity to remind everyone of how electric a playmaker he is. Ekeler is an incredibly dynamic player who showed that he wasn't terribly dominant as a main rushing force, but his ability in the passing game made up for it, topping 90 scrimmage yards in four of the first five weeks of the season while Gordon was holding out. Ekeler will likely have another strong performance against the Raiders this weekend, and dynasty owners should be excited about what next year could bring.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
