6 years agoSan Francisco Giants former outfielder Austin Jackson was traded Sunday morning along with Cory Gearrin to the Texas Rangers, however the GM Jon Daniels has reportedly told Jackson that there wouldn't be much playing time for him in Texas and that they play on moving him to another team. The Rangers have told Jackson to "hold off on reporting to club". So, now Austin Jackson is technically on the Rangers but is not going to be joining the team and is waiting to be traded again. Regardless of where Jackson ends up, he won't be fantasy relevant as he is batting .242 with a .604 OPS on the year and will not land a starting job anywhere.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
