3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Austin Meadows (illness) will be placed on the 10-day injured list, according to multiple reports. Meadows has been dealing with dizziness and an inner ear infection. He missed two straight games, then attempted to return to the field on Sunday, but exited Sunday's game after just one inning. He is still experiencing dizziness and vertigo-like symptoms and he will now be out for at least the next week and a half. Fellow outfielder Victor Reyes (leg) is also going on the injured list, so we should see both Willi Castro and Derek Hill earn extra playing time in the outfield.
