6 years agoBeau Hossler shot an even par at the Mayakoba Golf Classic, missing the cut by four strokes. Even though the 23-year-old entered the event off of three straight top-30 finishes, his statistical form wasn't quite up to par entering the week. In Hossler's previous 24 rounds compared to the field, he ranked outside the top 80 in strokes gained on par-fives, strokes gained approach, strokes gained ball striking and par-four scoring from 350 to 400 yards. Hossler's youth will make him volatile at this stage of his career, but he is one of the better golfers in the world under the age of 25 and should threaten to win his first title during the 2019 season.
