2 years agoToronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette helped the team rout the St. Louis Cardinals 10-3 on Tuesday. He went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and a pair of runs in the game. The 24-year-old owns a .259/.305/.421 slash line on the year and he's compiled 14 home runs, seven stolen bases, 52 RBI and 55 runs across 96 games. It's been a disappointing output, considering he racked up 29 homers, 25 stolen bases, 102 RBI and 121 runs last year while posting an .828 OPS. His hard-contact metrics are mostly all right where they were last year, but his strikeout rate has ballooned up from 19.9% last year to 24.7% this year. We'll see if he can cut down on those strikeouts over the second half of the 2022 season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
