Cal Raleigh Continues To Dominate At Triple-A
3 years agoSeattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh hit a three-run bomb for the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers Friday. Raleigh went 3-for-4 with a walk and three runs scored in the contest, bringing his slash line for the year to .338/.400/.632 with three homers, 15 runs, and 15 RBI in just 68 at-bats. He's walked six times while only striking out 11 times, and has also stolen two bases. Raleigh is establishing himself as the catcher of the future for Seattle, and with the immense struggles of Tom Murphy at the major league level and Luis Torrens already demoted to Triple-A, it appears Raleigh might already be the best option in the organization. Raleigh stands to be solid fantasy contributor once he arrives in the majors, which could be as soon as this season.
