Smith has now posted three consecutive worldwide top-25 finishes, which includes a triumph in his native country of Australia in December. This week, the 28th-ranked player in the world will head to Phoenix to compete in the Waste Management Open. Smith missed the cut in his debut in 2016 and has recorded two consecutive finishes just outside the top-40 the past two seasons.
