Cameron Young A Steady Putter Away From Victory
2 years agoCameron Young has four finishes T3 or better in his rookie season but has not yet managed to get his hands on any hardware. He enters the week as one of the more popular plays courtesy of his controlled power off the tee that has reliably gained him an average of 0.9 strokes per round this season. However, the last time Young averaged over 0.2 strokes putting was in February, six starts ago. As his around the green game and approach play have improved throughout the season his putting has simultaneously abandoned him. If his tee-to-green game performs as expected and he finally gains putting, his first win on tour could be a PGA Championship.
