4 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals released 2019 fourth-round wide receiver Hakeem Butler on Friday. The Cardinals also waived offensive lineman Sam Jones, punter Ryan Winslow and offensive lineman Brett Toth. Butler lost out in the roster crunch among Andy Isabella, KeeSean Johnson, Trent Sherfield and JoJo Ward behind starters DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk. The Iowa State product got off to a bad start when he was placed on Injured Reserve in his rookie season, but he could land on his feet elsewhere as depth since he's still only 24 years old. Depending on where he winds up, Butler could be worth a pickup in deep dynasty leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
