6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Carlos Martinez struggled again on Sunday, allowing four runs on four hits and seven walks in just 3 2/3 innings. Martinez simply could not command his fastball, and he has not looked "right" since returning from the disabled list with a lat injury. He did strike out five batters on Sunday, but the seven walks showed that not even he knew where the ball was going once it left his hand. He's scheduled to start again on Saturday, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Cardinals tried to push him back or even skip a start.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
