Charlie Blackmon Homers In Second Straight

5 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon launched his second home run of the weekend to help Colorado snag another victory from the Marlins on Sunday. Blackmon's solo drive combined with a critical single in the bottom of the ninth to keep the Rockies in the game and allow them to walk it off in the 10th inning. Following a drop in his home run total last year, there was concern that the 32-year-old might be starting his decline, but he's blasted his way back into relevance this year by drilling homers at a pace more reminiscent of 2017 and hitting for an eye-popping .327 average once again.
