Chase McLaughlin Makes A Pair Of FGs

5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers kicker Chase McLaughlin did pretty well in his first action with the team on Sunday. McLaughlin got off to a rough start when his first field goal attempt as a Charger was tipped at the line of scrimmage and fell well short of the uprights, but he composed himself and knocked two other field goals through without issue. He also made the only extra point try he had. McLaughlin is expected to only be around for a couple weeks while Michael Badgley, the team's expected kicker, continues to heal from his groin injury. That said, Badgley was expected back weeks ago, so McLaughlin could end up with a regular job if Badgley suffers any additional setbacks.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
