5 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starter Chris Archer (3-8) took the loss on Sunday afternoon, allowing six runs (five earned) on five hits and four walks while striking out four over five innings. Five hits, two walks, and an error allowed the Mets to bat around in the first inning, resulting in a 6-0. Archer settled down and held the Mets scoreless for the remainder of the outing. The former-Ray is now sporting a 5.58 ERA and is not a viable fantasy option while he continues to run up his pitch counts.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
