Chris Carson Could Be Sneaky Good This Week

4 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson has pretty much been exactly what owners expected so far. He's averaging 4.4 YPC, slightly down from last season, but he's racking up nearly 85 yards per game, leaving him on pace to top 1,300 yards this season. He's also seen a bump in his receptions as Seattle has tried to get their running backs more involved in the passing game. Now, he'll face his toughest matchup of the season in SF. However, maybe it won't be quite as tough as first thought. The 49ers lost Kwon Alexander for the season and got ripped by Kenyan Drake last week. It looks like the best defense in the NFC may be susceptible to the run. If that's the case, expect Carson to be a focal point of Seattle's offense on Monday night.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
