Chris Taylor Misses Third Straight Game

6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers utility man Chris Taylor continues to be out of the Dodgers lineup Sunday following a hamstring injury. This is the third start in a row that Taylor has missed, but he did hit a pinch hit double Saturday, so it doesn't look too serious. Enrique Hernandez is taking over at shortstop for him for the time being. Taylor is having quite a disappointing season after a breakout in 2017 batting just .252 with a .788 OPS and only has three steals on the year. With shortstop and second base being the biggest powerhouse positions so far this year and the Dodgers failing to meet their expectations, Taylor doesn't offer a lot of upside even when healthy.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
