Chris Taylor On The Bench For NLDS Game 1
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Chris Taylor is on the bench for the first game of the National League Division Series. Taylor hit a walk-off home run in the team's Wild-Card game win over the St. Louis Cardinals but won't be starting against the San Francisco Giants and right-hander Logan Webb. Taylor didn't start in the win against St. Louis either. The 30-year-old hit .254 with a .344 on-base percentage, 20 home runs, and 13 stolen bases in 582 plate appearances during the regular season. Instead, it'll be Mookie Betts, Cody Bellinger, and AJ Pollock from right to left in the outfield on Friday. Betts is hitting leadoff, with Bellinger batting seventh and Pollock hitting eighth.
