5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Corbin Burnes was optioned down to AAA on Friday. It's unfortunate but not a surprise. Burnes had racked up a 10.70 ERA in 17 2/3 innings so far this season and could not keep the ball in the park. The Brewers were hopeful that Burnes would stick around in the rotation, and maybe he can figure some things out in the minors and be back soon. For now though, Burnes is not worth stashing.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
