5 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks traded up with the Patriots and selected Mississippi wide receiver D.K. Metcalf with the No. 64 overall pick (last pick in second round) in the 2019 NFL draft. Metcalf is one of the best at hauling in contested catches deep down the field, which is something that quarterback Russell Wilson likes to do. He showed that he's a freak athlete at the combine in February, but he's also raw and will need to improve his route-running techniques in order to take the next step. Metcalf is a great fit in Seattle and could immediately help in fantasy leagues, albeit as a boom-or-bust commodity better selected in standard-scoring leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
