6 years agoSan Francisco Giants reliever Dereck Rodriguez was promoted to the big leagues on Monday in preparation for a series in Colorado. Though Rodriquez has been a starter in the minors this season, he will be coming up as added firepower in the Giants bullpen. With Hunter Strickland performing well and Mark Melancon returning soon, it seems unlikely that Rodriguez will have much fantasy value beyond potentially getting a hold here and there, though another strong reliever in the bullpen would boost the value for the rest of the Giants pitching staff.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
