6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates catcher Francisco Cervelli is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets. Cervelli had just been activated from the seven day concussion DL on Friday and there were real concerns about whether he would ever catch again. The Pirates are just being cautious with their veteran, especially while they are so hot as team at the moment. That being said, Cervelli is probably in line to get more days off than most and is only batting .239 on the season, so there is probably a better catching option out there for you.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
