6 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Francisco Mejia (rest) is out of the starting lineup against the Texas Rangers on Saturday. It appears this is just a routine rest day for Mejia, so he should be back in the lineup on Sunday. Austin Hedges will bat fifth and draw the start behind the plate against lefty Alex Claudio. Hedges is hitting .267/.313/.800 with two home runs and four RBI over the last week. He's worth a look as a cheap sleeper option on Saturday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
