Torres is batting .253 this season, with a .325 on-base percentage, six home runs, and 12 stolen bases in 420 plate appearances. In his place, New York is starting Andrew Velazquez. Velazquez, who is batting ninth, has logged 60 plate appearances for the Yankees this season. He's hitting .220 with a .223 on-base percentage, a home run, and three stolen bases.
