6 years agoHaoTong Li, the 22-year-old Chinese sensation, will make his first career WGC-Bridgestone Invitational appearance. Li has participated in the other three WGC events in his career, and the Invitational will be the last one for him to cross off his bucket list. In his seven total WGC events played, Li has only produced one top-34 finish, which resulted in a share of seventh place at the 2015 WGC-HSBC Champions. The no-cut feature of the event should theoretically help him to feel less pressure but so far that hasn't seemed to help provide quality finishes. Li appears to be rapidly improving his level of consistency with every start he has made this year and will only continue to grow as a player as he matures. However, it seems unlikely that the Chinese golfer will be able to put together much better than a middle-of-the-pack sort of performance in his first start at Firestone. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
