6 years agoJordan Spieth's share of 35th place at the Farmers Insurance Open may not tell the whole story. Spieth shot a seven-under 65 on the easier North Course during day one before faltering with three consecutive even-par rounds at the more difficult South Course. The American had gotten up to 10-under par for the event midway through Friday but closed the back-nine with a bogey and double bogey to fall to even-par on the day. While the finish doesn't scream success, Torrey Pines would have been a challenging venue for Spieth on his best day. Pebble Beach, on the other hand, is a track that should emphasize Spieth's immaculate short iron play. The 25-year-old is still a risky proposition at $9,400 on DraftKings and is projected to be highly owned, so if you are looking for a reason to fade him from a game-theory perspective, it does make some sense. But the potential is also there for Spieth to finally get himself back on track. You will have to go with your gut on this one. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
