3 years agoThe Cleveland Cavaliers utilized the 49th overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft to forge a brotherly reunion for the squad. They selected forward Isaiah Mobley out of USC, uniting him with his younger brother, 2022 NBA All-Rookie First Team selection Evan Mobley. Isaiah and Evan played together for a year at USC and helped lead the Trojans to the Elite Eight in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Isaiah was a junior at USC last year and he put together his best statistical season in college, averaging 14.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 three-pointers per game. While Isaiah is likely to either ride the bench or play in the G-League as a rookie, his chemistry with Evan could lead to him earning more minutes in Cleveland than he otherwise would have found.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
