Isan Diaz Considering Opting Out

4 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Isan Diaz, one of the few Marlins yet to test positive for COVID-19, is reportedly "at least considering" leaving the team hotel in Philadelphia and opting out for the rest of the season. The Marlins have been stuck in their hotel in Philadelphia since they played against the Phillies last weekend. With Diaz being one of the few Marlins who has not tested positive, he at least has the ability to leave the hotel and go home. It's a move that likely would not go over well with his teammates, so it remains to be seen what he will decide to do. Whenever the Marlins end up back on the field, it's going to be almost a completely different team that what we saw on opening weekend.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
